Georgia & Max: A Stylish London Wedding at The RSA

Georgia & Max at The RSA, London

Some weddings feel effortlessly cool from the very beginning, and Georgia and Max’s London wedding was exactly that. From a relaxed morning getting ready in Covent Garden to an unforgettable evening celebration surrounded by music and Guinness, every part of their day reflected who they are perfectly, stylish, warm, modern, and completely themselves.

Set against the grandeur of RSA House in London, their wedding combined contemporary details with timeless architecture in the most beautiful way.

Getting Ready at Middle Eight Hotel, Covent Garden

The day began at the beautiful Middle Eight Hotel in Covent Garden, where Georgia and Max got ready with their closest friends and family. The atmosphere was calm, exciting, and full of anticipation as the final touches came together.

The Middle Eight was the perfect backdrop for the morning, modern interiors, soft natural light, and that understated luxury that photographs so beautifully. Georgia looked incredible as she stepped into her dress, while Max and the groomsmen brought a relaxed energy to the morning before heading to the ceremony.

One of the things I loved most about this part of the day was how naturally everything unfolded. There was no rushing, no pressure, just genuine excitement and the kind of atmosphere that makes documenting a wedding feel effortless.

A Historic Ceremony at RSA House London

Georgia and Max chose The RSA in London for both their ceremony and reception, and it couldn’t have suited their vision more perfectly.

Stepping into the venue feels like stepping into another world. The historic architecture, grand staircases, and incredible paintings covering the walls created such an elegant backdrop throughout the day. Every room carried so much character and depth, blending beautifully with the couple’s modern styling.

Their ceremony felt intimate despite the grandeur of the space. Surrounded by family and friends, Georgia and Max exchanged vows in a room filled with emotion, candlelight, and the most stunning contemporary burgundy florals.

The florals added such a rich, editorial feel to the day, deep burgundy tones layered against the historic interiors created a look that was both dramatic and timeless. Every detail felt carefully considered without ever feeling overdone.

Guinness for the Newlyweds

One of my favourite moments from the entire wedding day happened straight after the ceremony.

While many couples go for champagne as their first drink as newlyweds, Georgia and Max stayed completely true to themselves and chose Guinness instead.

And honestly? It was iconic.

The laughter, the perfectly poured pints, it summed them up so perfectly as a couple. It’s these kinds of personal touches that make a wedding feel genuinely meaningful and unforgettable.

Documenting moments like this is always such a reminder that the best weddings are the ones that reflect the couple authentically.

Contemporary Burgundy Florals & Timeless Interiors

As the day moved into the reception, The RSA looked incredible. The candlelit tables, rich burgundy florals, and historic paintings throughout the venue created the most beautiful atmosphere for dinner and speeches.

The styling struck such a perfect balance between modern and classic. The contemporary floral arrangements brought texture and depth to the historic rooms, while the warm lighting made everything feel intimate and romantic.

Every corner of the venue offered another incredible backdrop, whether it was portraits beneath the grand artwork, quiet moments in the hallways, or the energy of guests celebrating together during the evening.

London weddings often have a unique energy to them, and this day captured that perfectly.

An Unforgettable Evening Celebration

As soon as the evening celebrations began, the atmosphere completely transformed.

With a DJ and saxophonist performing together, the dance floor came alive almost instantly. The combination of live saxophone with the music created such an electric atmosphere.

There’s something about live music at weddings that changes the entire energy of the evening, and Georgia and Max’s reception was the perfect example of that.

From emotional speeches to packed dance floors and endless Guinness at the bar, the entire celebration felt joyful, relaxed, and full of life.

Capturing Georgia & Max’s Wedding

Georgia and Max’s wedding was the perfect reminder that the most memorable celebrations are the ones that feel personal.

Every detail, from the contemporary burgundy florals to the Guinness toast and the incredible music in the evening, reflected them completely. Combined with the timeless elegance of The RSA and the stylish atmosphere of The Middle Eight, it created a wedding day that felt effortlessly editorial while still being full of genuine emotion.

It was such a privilege to document this incredible day in the heart of London.
