A quintessential London Wedding
Kane and Eleanor at The Old Marylebone Town Hall
There is something so effortlessly romantic about a London wedding, and this beautiful celebration was the perfect example. From getting ready at the iconic Kimpton Fitzroy to saying “I do” at Old Marylebone Town Hall before celebrating at The Italian Greyhound, the whole day felt stylish, intimate and unmistakably London.
Getting Ready at the Kimpton Fitzroy
The day began at the beautiful Kimpton Fitzroy London, where the couple got ready surrounded by the elegant interiors of this iconic Bloomsbury hotel.
Morning preparations are always one of my favourite parts of a wedding day to capture as a wedding content creator. There is something so special about those quieter moments before everything begins, the final touches, getting into the dress, champagne, little details and the excitement building before heading to the ceremony.
For a content creator, these moments also provide the perfect opportunity to capture the little details that might otherwise be forgotten: the dress and accessories, beauty moments, candid reactions and all of those behind-the-scenes snippets that bring the story of the day to life.
Saying “I Do” at Old Marylebone Town Hall
From the Kimpton Fitzroy, the couple made their way to Old Marylebone Town Hall for their ceremony.
Old Marylebone Town Hall is one of London's most iconic civil ceremony venues, and it provided the perfect setting for this part of the day. The ceremony was intimate and romantic, with all of the excitement and emotion that comes with finally seeing each other and saying those all-important words.
One of the things I love about London weddings is how naturally the city becomes part of the wedding story. Moving between different locations throughout the day creates such a beautiful sense of movement and gives the final content a real editorial feel.
Celebrating at The Italian Greyhound
After the ceremony, the celebrations continued at The Italian Greyhound.
The Italian Greyhound was the perfect choice for a stylish London wedding reception, creating a more relaxed atmosphere for the couple and their guests to enjoy the rest of the day.
After the emotion of the ceremony, it was lovely to capture the celebrations unfolding, the drinks, conversations, laughter and those spontaneous moments that you could never quite recreate for the camera.
Capturing the Wedding Day Behind the Scenes
As a London wedding content creator, my aim is to capture the wedding day as it genuinely feels, rather than creating another formal version of it.
I capture the moments happening around the main photography, the candid reactions, behind-the-scenes moments, details, movement and little pieces of the day that couples often don't get to see until afterwards.
For a wedding like this, with three beautiful London locations, there was so much variety to capture. From the elegance of the Kimpton Fitzroy and Old Marylebone Town Hall to the relaxed atmosphere of the reception, the final collection of content tells the story of the entire day.
